| Encourage Students To Grasp An Upper-Body Fitness Opportunity The Vertical BoulderingBoard is a 2 W x 3 H (6m x 9m) vertical board that provides a manageable climb of up across and down. The advantage of the vertical design is a greater emphasis on upper-body strength development. When mounted the top is slightly further away from the wall than the bottom to prevent the scraping of armsPerhaps no activity encourages and enables upper-body strength development more than rock climbing. These 3/4"-thick (1.9cm) boards are pre-drilled for easy mounting and finished with a texture that imparts the look and feel of stone. Each board is complete with visually exciting and appropriately sized primary and secondary colored handholds that provide a magnetic appeal. Moving the 15 handholds within each Board`s grid of 30 built-in anchors keeps the challenge fresh and exciting. Additionally the handholds rotate to provide different grasping profiles. This board is designed to eliminate dependency on spotters climbing harnesses and belay ropes. The only thing required for safety is the positioning of gym mats below. Set includes 15 handholds. Holds are made of a hybrid epoxy resin with a 700-lb. (317.5kg) maximum weight per hold.
